Weevil-inspired objects

En realidad he hecho muchas cosas artísticas no solo con curculiónidos, sino que también con otros insectos. Desde que los estudio estando en séptimo (segundo año de secundaria). A medida que fui avanzando en mi proceso educativo me fui enfocando cada vez más en curculiónidos, cada vez le he agarrado más cariño a los gorgojos más ahora que estoy haciendo mi doctorado en ello.

Por lo general he sido autodidacta con las técnicas, solo por experimentar y curiosidad. Las obras que muestro son inspiradas en los gorgojos que trabajan en la división, y fueron un regalo para mis compañeros de trabajo como Judy Rincón, Maite Soto-Quiroga, Guadalupe del Río, Analía Lanteri, Adriana Marvaldi, Adaiane Jacobina y Marcela Rodriguero.

I've actually made many artistic works, not only with weevils, but also with other insects. I've been studying them since I was in seventh grade (second year of high school). As I've progressed in my education, I've increasingly focused on weevils, and I've grown increasingly fond of weevils, even more so now that I'm pursuing my doctorate in the field.

I've generally learned the techniques on my own, simply out of experimentation and curiosity. The works I show here are inspired by the weevils that are the subject of research projects where I study, and were a gift for my colleagues like Judy Rincón, Maite Soto-Quiroga, Guadalupe del Río, Analía Lanteri, Adriana Marvaldi, Adaiane Jacobina, and Marcela Rodriguero.
